Not All Players Include FM Radio
If you take a close look at any reasonably comprehensive listing of portable audio products (see the Personal Player Info Resources table that follows for examples of same), including portable digital music players in general or MP3-capable players in particular, you'll notice that only about half of them offer built-in FM radios of any kind at all. This is especially true for hard disk based music playerssuch as Apple's iPod, the Rio Karma, the Dell Digital Jukebox, or other similar productswhich seldom, if ever, feature built-in FM radios. Likewise, the same appears to be true for many units with larger storage capacities not based on laptop-style hard disks.
