Share and Follow (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/share-and-follow) is a comprehensive plugin that offers numerous social sharing options. One of the best things about this plugin is that it performs the functions of multiple other plugins.
With Share and Follow, you can
- Add Share Icons at the end of each post. You can customize the appearance of these icons as well as select the specific icons you want to display, including icons for numerous social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Delicious, Digg, Google Buzz, and many others. Sharing a blog post via email is another option.
- Create a customizable Follow Tab that displays on every WordPress page, offering buttons that link to your presence on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and other social sites. Figure 5 shows a sample Follow Tab.
- Add Facebook Like buttons, Twitter Retweet buttons, or StumbleUpon buttons to each blog post (see Figure 6). Having these buttons in plain view makes it easier for readers to share with their own networks on popular social sites. Sharing on Facebook and Twitter is a particularly effective blog promotion strategy.
