10. Twitter Tools
Twitter Tools (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/twitter-tools/faq) integrates your WordPress blog with your Twitter account to automatically publish blog posts as Twitter tweets. You can use a URL shortening service such as bit.ly to display links on Twitter, create a blog post from each of your tweets, display tweets in your blog sidebar, and much more. Be aware that setting up this powerful plugin does require some detailed setup. If you're looking for an easier solution, consider Twitterfeed (http://www.twitterfeed.com) or dlvr.it (http://dlvr.it). Note that these are both online services, not plugins.
Installing just a few of these plugins should help your blog start developing the larger audience it deserves. Be careful not to overload your site with too much of a good thing, however. Use only those plugins that truly add value for your readers or simplify your blogging experience.
