How Often Should You Post?
This brings up the question of how often you need to post to your company blog. Again, there’s no single right answer, but I can give you a range.
If you post less than once a week, you run the danger of your blog appearing stagnant and irrelevant. Post infrequently enough and your blog might even appear abandonedwhich is not a good image for what I presume is an otherwise vibrant product or brand. Nope, you need to keep your blog updated with fresh content on a regular basis.
On the other hand, you don’t want to overwhelm your readers. Post too frequently and you’ll wear them out; chances are, you’ll be posting about a lot of things your customers just don’t care about. A blog, after all, is not a Twitter feed; you can’t post hourly and expect to maintain an acceptable quality level and depth of content.
The ideal posting frequency, then, is somewhere between once a day and once a week. That keeps your blog fresh and keeps readers coming back for morewithout turning them off.
