Switching Back to the Regular Ubuntu Desktop
In Ubuntu Netbook Remix, there was a great tool for switching back and forth between the Ubuntu Netbook interface and the regular Ubuntu one. Sadly, that tool is gone—but you can still switch back and forth. On the login screen is a session switcher, as mentioned earlier, with the new 2D launcher. To switch back to the standard Ubuntu desktop, simply select GNOME, as in Figure 9-11, and off you go. You can even switch every single time you boot if you want.
