Summary

We have completed our overview of the blackhat's motives. This in no way means that all blackhats operate and think in the ways we have described; what we have just described is a generalization. However, these are the common tools, tactics, and motives the Honeynet Project has encountered over the past several years. This is also a common threat that we all face, regardless of what type of connection or organization you represent. This threat is also continually growing, changing, and improving all the time.
