Access Google Calendar
Google Calendar works great when you're connected to the Internet, but what about those weird moments when you're not online? Google Gears lets you access your calendar offline through a cached version of what's coming up. You'll need to know how to configure Google Gears and enable offline access for the Google exam. You don't have to enable offline access for every calendar, though you can if you want. Most likely, educators will pick and choose the important, most-shared calendars for their classes.
You can also configure Google Calendar to view and make changes from a mobile phone. You can edit your calendars through a mobile web browser, applications, using Sync with your iPhone, and good, old-fashioned SMS messages. You can, if you really want to, use Sync with Outlook, too.
