Many business travelers prefer to utilize hired town cars or limousines, as opposed to taxis or a rental car when traveling on business. This easy-to-use app allows you to set up an account once with the LimoRes service, and then reserve a car in advance or on a last-minute basis in almost any city, with a few taps on the iPhone's screen.
When making a reservation, simply enter your start location and destination, as well as the time and date of your requested pick-up. The app instantly gets you a price quote for different types of vehicles, ranging from a luxury town car to a super stretch limousine, and allows you to book and confirm your reservation with any of more than 11,000 ground transportation service providers globally (as shown in Figure 3).
Of course, the rates for hiring a chauffeured town car or limo are typically higher than a traditional taxi, but the service is more luxurious and personalized.
This app is also great for finding last-minute ground transportation, especially if your itinerary suddenly changes.
