Quickly Find Specific Apps You Want or Need
Browsing the apps listed under the various charts will help you discover what other iPhone or iPad users are buying and downloading. However, if you're looking for a particular app or type of app, your best bet is to use the "Search Store" field, located in the upper-right corner of the App Store screen when running iTunes (shown in Figure 4).
Using the "Search Store" field, you can enter any app name, app developer name, or one or more keywords to describe the specific app you're looking for. For example, if you're looking for a powerful app to manage your to-do lists, use the keyword "to-do lists."
Upon pressing the Enter key, the screen displays all the available apps that meet your search criteria (as shown in Figure 5). In this case, more than 100 different apps, designed to manage to-do lists, are available, ranging in price from free to $9.99. Now simply click each app's icon to learn more about it.
From the App Store app on your device, click the Search icon located at the bottom of the screen and then type your keywords within the field that appears at the top of the screen (see Figure 6).
