What’s Next
While OneNote has historically been known primarily for note-taking, it has evolved to become, in conjunction with SkyDrive and SharePoint, a powerful and web-centric solution for an expanding range of hypertext information management and collaboration scenarios. It’s safe to assume that Microsoft’s OneNote and IE teams will continue to work closely together, and to refine the user experience across OneNote 2010, OneNote Web App, and IE. Expanding industry support for meaningful (real or de facto) standards is also a positive trend for OneNote users, as it suggests OneNote Web App will, over time, be fully available in a wider range of browser client device and platform permutations.
