We reviewed the three major web browsers: IE, Firefox, and Chrome. However, before you make a choice, here are some others you might want to look into:
- Safari: This browser is great for Apple lovers, but is also available for Windows.
- Opera: Offers remote access and file sharing in addition to bookmarking and setting synchronization. Opera isn't just for Windows, Mac, and Linux machines. It's also available on many mobile phones and devices, including BlackBerry, iPhone/iPod/iPad, Windows Mobile, and Android. You'll also find its browser on Nintendo DSi and Wii.
- Flock: The most current release (3.x) is based on Google's Chromium and runs on Windows. It includes performance enhancements and lets you view and post to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Flickr directly from the browser's sidebargreat for social network addicts! The older release, based on Mozilla's browser, packs even more features and is also available for Mac OS X and Linux.
- Lunascape: This is a Windows-only browser, featuring three rendering engines for maximum web page compatibility: Trident (IE), Gecko (Firefox), and Webkit (Chrome and Safari).
- Dolphin: A unique browser for Windows, packed with features such as an integrated media player, word processor, picture editor, and much more.
