Creating an Image Header
One cool way to personalize your blog is to add a custom image at the top of the blog page. That’s the first thing most people see, after all (Figure 4).

If you want to add an image header, start by opening the Blogger Dashboard and clicking the Layout link for your blog. When the Layout tab appears, select the Page Elements sub-tab; this displays the Page Elements page.
Click the Edit link for the Header item. When the Configure Header dialog box appears, go to the Image section, make sure the From Your Computer option is selected, then click the Choose File button. When the Open dialog box appears, navigate to and select the file you want to use, then click the Open button.
You’re now returned to the Configure Header dialog box. Go to the Placement section and select how you want the image displayed. You can opt to display the image behind your blog’s title and description, have the image replace the title and description, or have the description (but not the title) appear beneath the image. The last two options are nice if you include the blog’s title in the image itself.
When you’re done making all these changes, click the Save button. Your blog will now appear with the new image you selected.
