Customizing Fonts and Colors
Templates are an easy way to change the look and feel of your blog. However, you don’t have to accept all the parameters of a given template; you can easily change the fonts and colors of a template.
For example, you can change the color of your blog’s page background, body text, link text, blog title, description, post titles, borders, sidebar border, sidebar text, and visited text. You can also change the font family, style (normal, bold, or italic), and size of the body text, sidebar title, blog title, description, and post footer. That’s a lot of stuff you can reconfigure!
Here’s how you do it. Start by opening the Blogger dashboard and clicking the Layout link for your blog. When the Layout tab appears, select the Fonts and Colors sub-tab; this displays the Fonts and Colors page (Figure 3).

To change the color of an element, select that color from the list and click the new color in the color picker. To change the font of a text element, select that element from the list and choose a font family, style, and size. Click the Save Changes button when done.
