Windows 7 has remodeled the Taskbar (see Figure 4) to make it easier, faster, and more versatile. Not only can you see live thumbnails of each program window, but you can also open recently-used files direct from the Taskbar using the new Jump List feature. You can pin frequently-used files and programs to the Taskbar. In Windows 7, the Taskbar works harder so you don't have to.
