Wireless Network
The Mobility Center's Wireless Network panel serves three functions.
First, this panel displays the status of your current wireless connectionwhether you're connected or not.
Second, it lets you quickly disable your wireless connection. Just click the Turn Wireless Off button, and your connection is disabled. To re-enable the wireless connection, click the resultant Turn Wireless On button.
The final function is somewhat hidden. Hover over the green bars of the connection status display and they turn into a button; click this button and you open the panel that lists all available wireless networks in the area. From here you can connect to or from any available network or open Windows' Network and Sharing Center, which lets you manage all sorts of network connections, as shown in Figure 2. (You can also open this panel by clicking the Internet Access icon in the Windows Taskbar.)
