Overview of the Unreal Engine
What is the Unreal Engine, exactly? In short, it’s a system that organizes your “assets”—your characters, artwork, props, weapons, music, sound effects, voiceovers, etc.—into a visually stunning interactive environment.
But not just “any” visually stunning environment: one that behaves just the way you want it to—as a game, in other words!(see FIGURE 1.12).
