Rotating Your Text
By default, Visio's text is drawn horizontally—but that doesn't stop you from rotating it to fit your shapes, as shown in Figure 3.44.

You also can rotate text to label the vertical axis in a graph, or whatever you want.
Rotating text is not difficult in Visio, if you follow these steps:
- Select the Text Block or Standard Pointer tool in the toolbar.
- Select the text block you want to rotate. Visio selects the text block and shows its selection frame.
- Drag the rotation handle of the selection frame, rotating the text as you want it. Visio rotates the text to match.
- Release the mouse button.
By default, Visio lets you rotate text only in 15° increments. However, you can rotate text at any angle you want if you follow these steps:
- Select the Text Block or Standard Pointer tool in the toolbar.
- Select the text block you want to rotate. Visio selects the text block and shows its selection frame.
- Select View > Size & Position Window. Visio displays the Size & Position window, shown in Figure 3.45.

- Enter the angle for the text. 0° is horizontal.
