Selecting Background Colors
You can also select the background color of text blocks in Visio. For example, the text in Figure 3.42 is light green (as displayed in black-and-white in the figure, of course).

How can you set a text block's background color? Follow these steps:
- Click the Text tool in the Standard toolbar.
- Select the text block you want to format.
- Select Format > Text or right-click the text and select Format Text. Visio shows the Text dialog.
- Click the Text Block tab. Visio displays the Text Block tab, as shown in Figure 3.43.

- Select the Solid Color radio button in the Text Background area.
- Select a color from the Solid Color drop-down box. Visio shows the color selected.
- Slide the transparency slider, if desired, to set the color's transparency.
- Click OK. Visio closes the Text dialog.
