Creating Bulleted Lists
You can also format your text into bulleted lists using Visio. Bulleted lists are commonly displayed in Visio drawings, because they can sum up data and information handily.
You can create a bulleted list format for a blank text block, or for text that already exists. Either way, Visio lets you create bulleted lists easily.
Here are the steps to follow:
- Click the Text tool on the Standard toolbar.
- Click the shape whose text you want to edit. Visio displays the text block as selected.
- Select Format > Text or right-click the text block and select Format Text. Visio displays the Text dialog.
- Click the Bullets tab. Visio displays the Bullets tab, shown in Figure 3.29.

- Click the Bullet style you want in the Style box.
- Click OK—Visio applies the bullet style and closes the Text dialog.
