Resizing Text Blocks
You can also resize text blocks as you like. For example, you might not like the way Visio has broken your text at the ends of lines, and you can change that by giving the text block a new size.
Here's how to resize a text block:
- Select the Text Block tool from the drop-down arrow next to the Text tool.
- Click the shape that contains the text block. Visio selects the text block by making its green dotted frame appear.
- By dragging the text block frame's sizing handles, resize the text block. The mouse cursor changes to a double-headed arrow during this operation.
- Click the Pointer tool in the Standard toolbar. This deselects the text block.
