Faithe Wempen

Vince Averello has been a professional geek for more than twenty years. During those often funny, sometimes frightening but always interesting years, he’s worked for over ten organizations lending his expertise to a variety of projects. Every one of them has been a learning experience so now he knows a little bit about a lot of things ranging from the Internet to garment trucking. Vince lives in lovely midtown Bayonne, New Jersey with his loving wife, and two amusing kids. He still hopes one day to pilot a giant robot like his hero Kouji Kabuto.

 

Mikal E. Belicove is a Laguna Beach, California-based freelance writer, ghost blogger, and corporate communications and business management consultant. His areas of expertise include business blogging and ghost blogging, public relations, book publishing and managing book projects, personal branding and market positioning, online social networking for business, and producing websites, blogs, and landing pages. Mikal is hot-wired to the Internet and the Internet community. He is the coauthor of the 2007 edition of the Internet Yellow Pages (Que Publishing, 2006), and regularly pens feature articles for Lumin Publishing’s business and lifestyle magazines, including Business Connect Magazine, Community Magazine, and Launch. As the author of three books on websites and applications (eBay, QuickBase, and Google Apps), Nancy Conner knows her way around the Internet. Her other publications have covered topics ranging from real estate to WAN Optimization, and from English education to the Unified Modeling Language. Nancy lives in the Finger Lakes region of New York, where she also works as an editor and corporate trainer. Her first novel, a mystery titled Peace, Love, and Murder, is forthcoming in 2009.

 

Adrienne Crew is an author and intellectual property attorney residing in Los Angeles. She coauthored Blogosphere: Best of Blogs in 2006. Her work has appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle, Salon.com, and the Los Angeles Times. She contributes to the LAObserved.com media blog.

 

Sherry Kinkoph Gunter has written and edited oodles of books over the past 16 years covering a wide variety of computer topics, including Microsoft Office programs, digital photography, and Web applications. Her recent titles include Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac, Teach Yourself VISUALLY Microsoft Office 2007 and Master VISUALLY Dreamweaver and Flash CS3. Sherry’s ongoing quest is to help users of all levels master the ever-changing computer technologies. No matter how many times software manufacturers throw out a new version or upgrade, Sherry vows to be there to make sense of it all and help computer users get the most out of their machines. Sherry currently resides in a swamp in the wilds of central Indiana with a lovable ogre and a menagerie of interesting creatures.

 

Faithe Wempen is an adjunct instructor of computer technology at IUPUI and the author of more than 100 books on computer hardware and software, including Special Edition Using Microsoft Word 2007. She has taught Internet, Office, and Windows skills to more than a quarter-million online students for corporate clients including CNET, HP, and Sony.
