Purchasing Music (Galaxy Tab 7″)
There are two primary ways for you to purchase and download music directly from your Galaxy Tab. You can download music using a proprietary app provided by your cellular carrier, such as V CAST Music from Verizon. You can download a music app from Android Market that enables you to shop for and purchase music, such as Amazon MP3. (The Amazon MP3 app is free in the Android Market.) Follow these steps to browse and purchase music from your Tab using Amazon MP3. You need an Amazon.com account to make purchases in Amazon MP3.
- After you have installed Amazon MP3, tap the Amazon MP3 icon to launch the app.
- Tap in the Search field to access the keyboard and enter a keyword search for an album, song, or artist.
- At the bottom of the screen, tap either the Free Song of the Day or Daily Deal Album to take advantage of those deals.
- Content is grouped into three main categories: Bestsellers, New Releases, and Browse by Genre. Tap Bestsellers.
- Tap an album that you would like to purchase. A page opens, giving you the opportunity to preview songs, buy individual songs, or purchase the entire album. Tap the price to purchase the entire album. The price button turns into a Buy button.
- Tap the top price of the album to be given the option to buy. The price button turns into a Buy button.
- Tap Buy to purchase the album. You are prompted to sign in to your Amazon.com account if you are not already logged in.
- Enter your Amazon.com information.
- Read the terms of use, and then select the check box agreeing to the terms.
