Google Mobile and Google Earth
Google Mobile is a must-see because of its incredible voice search capability. Simply launch Google Mobile, speak your search request into your iPhone, and get results that you can then open in Safari. Apart from the cool factor, it can be incredibly helpful because speaking a search request can be a lot faster and easier than typing one on the iPhone's keyboard. The app also provides links to many of Google's web services (GMail, Google Talk, Google Docs, Google Reader, etc.), though at this point the links actually open in Safari.
Also a must-have on the Google front is Google Earth. Like the desktop version of Google Earth, the mobile version allows you to browse the planet. It comes complete with support for zooming and scrolling. Use the multi-touch gestures and tilting to adjust view angles via the accelerometer of the iPhone and iPod Touch. On the iPhone, it also supports locating and viewing your current location.
