FAQs

Question 1: Some themes are missing their ".elm" file. What do I do?

Solution 1: The themes missing their .elm files are:

7 Distant Giant 2
7 Escort
7 Last Resort

Here's how to install the remaining three themes that have no .elm file:

1. Follow the other instructions, but substitute ".inf" for ".elm."

2. FrontPage will create the .elm file.

Question 2: When I open the disk there in no install for the program frontpage2000.

Solution 2: This product does not come with FrontPage 2000. You will need to purchase it separately. On the back cover of the book, it shows what is on the CD and it does not mention FrontPage, only tools that go with it.

Question 3: The E-book gives error and will not open.

Solution 3: You need to load Acrobat Reader in order to view the electronic books.

Question 4: What are the instructions for adding the Stetson's Palace Themes?

Solution 4: 1. Make sure that you have a Themes directory in the following location on your hard drive.

C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft

If you don't, please create one.

2. Once you have found or created your Themes directory, please do the following:

3. Let's say that you want to install the Accounting101 Theme from inside the Stetons Palace Directory on the CD. If you want to do this, open the file in Winzip. You will see two files. One of the files will be named something.elm You will need to create a folder in the C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Themes directory with the name of this file minus the .elm extension.

4. After you have done that, you can extract the files to that new folder.

5. When you start up Microsoft FrontPage, you will need to go to Format, Themes. You will see the Accounting101 Themes listed under SP-Accounting101 (or something similar to that)

6. This is what you will need to do for each theme that you wish to add. Please remember that you will always be looking for the .elm file. You will only need to use the name of the file minus the .elm extension.
