Anna Liu

Dr. Anna Liu is currently the Research Group Leader for Software Systems at National ICT Australia (NICTA), where she leads an R&D program on Enterprise Software and Cloud Computing. She is also the CTO of the NICTA spin-out Yuruware.com, a migration and disaster recovery as-a-service company. Prior to joining NICTA, Dr Liu was a Principal Software Architect at Microsoft. In the more distant past, Dr Liu held senior research scientist positions at the CSIRO, Software Engineering Institute CMU, and academic appointments at the University of New South Wales and the University of Technology, Sydney Australia. She is the author of 50+ papers in the area of software architecture and enterprise computing, and a popular speaker at Cloud Computing Conferences.
