Reversing a Reversal
The ability to reverse the order of printing—last page first, first page last—is very handy when using an inkjet printer, most of which stack their output in reverse order. The result is a properly collated document. Word offers a Reverse Print Order option for printing—but guess what? Many printer drivers offer the same option. And what happens when you set the option in both places? That’s right, Word reverses the page order and then the printer driver reverses them back to correct order, and you end up having to manually collate the output. Not fun! Surely there’s some way for Word and the printer driver to talk with each other to prevent this problem.
