Making a Useful Movie Directory
The final step is to turn your movie directory into a useful reference. Most useful for me is a .pdf file I can load onto my PDA and take with me to Blockbuster. You might prefer paper or a Word document.
After your database is populated, sort the movies alphabetically by title, and then open your movie display document in Word. On the Mail Merge toolbar, click Merge to New Document. Word will create one page for each movie. Note that the photos for all movies are identical. Scream "Arrrrrghhhh!"
Calm down. Press Ctrl+A to select the whole merged document and press F9. This will update all the different picture fields so that you now have different pictures for different movies.
At this point, you can save the document and give it a name. Or you can print it out.
