YAC Listeners Take on Other Forms

Though it's beyond the scope of this article to go into detail, it is important to note that the YAC website provides a listener for the Tivo. This means that you can get the caller notification right on your television screen, as long as you have Tivo connected to your YAC setup. You may also want to check out the listener that was created for Windows Media Center, called MCE-YAC (see http://www.byz.org/~ethanz/mce-yac/), which allows you to associate pictures to incoming callers.

As you have learned in this article, YAC is pretty easy to setup and considering the fact that it is free, YAC is even more delectable. Using YAC, you can screen your calls from the convenience of your laptop computer. That way, you don't have to force yourself to talk to those people you loathe talking to.
