Summary

As you’ve learned in this chapter, the process of editing can be as easy or complex as you want it to be. By using your computer and basic editing software, you can make movies very easily—by using Movie Maker’s AutoMovie—or you can get as complex as you want—by using the full range of editing techniques. Editing software and skills are powerful tools that you can learn to use creatively. This chapter is just the beginning of your adventures in editing.

Although editing may initially seem challenging, you will find that it gets easier over time. As you master the mechanics of using Movie Maker (or the editing software of your choice), you can spend more time developing your creative skills. You should give yourself time to grow and develop, and you should be sure to experiment and play. Enjoy the learning process: Editing, and even just learning to edit, can be a lot of fun.

For now, congratulate yourself on your initial successes. After all, you deserve it! It’s quite an accomplishment to learn this material. May it be the start of something big!

For orders and purchases placed through our online store on this site, we collect order details, name, institution name and address (if applicable), email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, credit/debit card information, shipping options and any instructions. Application and System Logs

Pearson automatically collects log data to help ensure the delivery, availability and security of this site. Web Analytics
