Here is how the drafting stage might look:
The Regals track team has been contemplating getting new uniforms for the past three years. We are really in need of them now. Besides looking very worn out, they are just old-looking. We don't feel like a real team with our old uniforms. At the last track meet of last season, I looked around and saw that everyone on the Regals really looked bad when I compared them with how the other teams standing around looked in their uniforms. I do know that some of the team members are actually embarrassed by the uniforms. For most people on the team, the uniforms don't even fit right. We could have a fundraiser to pay for the uniforms. There are plenty of ways we could raise money. A car wash could raise hundreds of dollars, and maybe we could pay for the entire team's uniforms and no one would have to pay anything.
Some people are completely satisfied with the uniforms that we have now. They think that the uniforms are fine for a few more years. I understand that these people are trying to save money and make due with what we have, but we should really get the gears in motion and order new ones. Even if we don't get them until late in the season, at least we will have them. Team members who look good usually play good, at least that is what I have found.
