Customizing the Control Center
The Control Center is a set of switches that you can quickly access by swiping down from the upper-right corner of the screen (see Chapter 1). The Control Center can be customized so it’s more useful to you. You can use the Settings app to add and remove some buttons, and change their order.
In the Settings app, tap Control Center.
Tap Customize Controls.
Tap the red – button next to any item in the Include list to remove it from the Control Center.
Tap the green + button next to any item in the More Controls list to add it to the Control Center.
Tap and drag these handles up and down to change the order of appearance for the included buttons.
Some buttons, like Notes, are just shortcuts to take you quickly to that app.
Tap Text Size in the Control Center to display a slider for adjusting the system text size. This is the same setting covered earlier in this chapter in “Making Text Easier to Read.”
The Magnifier button launches a camera-like app that enables you to use your iPad’s camera as a magnifying glass.
