Introduction
Perhaps the most obvious planning step when creating a network infrastructure design is the analysis of technical requirements. It is not always obvious, however, how to actually perform this step.
What information should be included in a thorough technical requirements analysis? What measurements must be taken? How are these measurements made? What does the data mean? The answers to these questions will be revealed as we address the objectives that Microsoft has defined for analyzing technical requirements. Each of the objectives is covered in the following sections.
