Introduction
How does VoiceXML enable you to write speech applications? There's obviously more to it than providing a language specification. It's possible to write VoiceXML applications without understanding many of the internals of how the network delivers content to users. However, some understanding of the network will give you a better feeling for constraints on your applications and help you develop better-behaved VoiceXML.
