Configuring Dexterity and Interaction Options
Your phone also contains a number of options that make it easier to use if you have any physical impairments. These are detailed in the following table.

Universal Switch |
Create custom switches to interact with your phone and select onscreen items. |
Assistant Menu |
Display an Assistant icon that provides one-handed access to important system operations. (Discussed later in this chapter.) |
Gesture Wake Up |
Enables you to wake up your phone by moving your hand above the screen. |
Touch and Hold Delay |
Adjusts the delay for when you touch and hold the screen. |
Interaction Control |
Customizes the way you interact with apps and settings, by blocking or unblocking areas of the screen, turning off auto rotate, and only showing app notifications on the notification panel and status bar. |
Enable Dexterity and Interaction Options
All of these options are enabled on the Dexterity and Interaction screen.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to display the notification panel.
Tap Settings to display the Settings screen.
Scroll to the System section and tap Accessibility.
Tap Dexterity and Interaction to display the Dexterity and Interaction screen.
Tap to enable or configure the options you want.
