Access Information Faster and More Efficiently Using Timeline
This second generation Pebble Time watch was designed to provide useful information faster and more efficiently to the person wearing it. For example, with a single click, the wearer’s Timeline is displayed. This information syncs automatically with the Calendar app running on a smartphone, and displays upcoming appointments and events, as well as pending alerts, alarms and notifications.
Timeline also works with other apps, to display alerts, alarms, and notifications, in much the same way that the iPhone’s Notification Center functions to display app-specific content in one convenient place.
By pressing one of the watch’s other buttons, the wearer can easily access app-specific content from the past or future, which is also part of this unique and intuitive Timeline interface. Thus, it’s possible to quickly access missed emails and/or text messages, view recent sports scores, or see your step count from the previous day. The watch can be programmed to play audible alerts to remind the wearer of alarms or events, or it can silently vibrate instead.

Like the Apple Watch, the Pebble Time offers customizable watch faces that display at-a-glance information related to events, weather, traffic, stocks, travel plans, or other app-specific content that’s running on a smartphone. The watch is also designed to work with a handful of fitness-related accessories, from companies like Misfit and Jawbone, so it can track workouts and other activities.
