It doesn’t matter if you are attempting to retrofit an existing site, or if you are just starting out with your first responsive design. Getting things right the first time saves you stress and from having to do a costly redesign. To help you with your responsive efforts, I have prepared a list of Dos and Don’ts that you can follow to help you get the most out your responsive mobile design.
Do Consider Your Content
With the constant tweaking and tuning of search engines, content gathering should be one of your top priorities. Having quality content that is informative and relevant is one of the most important things you can do to boost your search ranking.
Previously popular strategies such as cross-linking pages, keyword stuffing, and frequent use of the search term you were ranking are less effective. Search engines have been adding more complex algorithms and, more importantly, bots that understand and execute JavaScript, allowing them to better act like normal users would.
This really means that you need to consider the content you are posting as well as how users access it in your design. Consumers want information, and they want to access it on whatever device they currently have available.
