Conclusions
This article described the basic concepts behind message-driven EJBs and also showed how to create message-driven EJBs. The server-side implementation of message-driven EJBs was first described, and then we covered the means for creating clients for such EJBs was described. These clients are simply JMS clients and have no knowledge of whether the message consumer is an EJB. Finally, we explored how message-driven beans are to be deployed inside an EJB container using message-driven EJB deployment descriptors.
