Configuring Spring-MVC
Spring and Hibernate still need to be configured at the application level. To configure Spring, open web.xml and add Spring's Dispatch servlet:

Create folders called spring\appServlet and views in the WEB-INF folder. In the spring\appServlet folder, create the servlet-context.xml file:

The component scan element tells Spring what your main application package is (com.springmvcHibernate). All your packages should start with this "base package."
Finally, in the spring folder, create the root-context.xml file:

Spring is now configured! You shouldn't have any compile or server publishing errors.
