Activate Twitter Integration with iOS 5 Apps
If you're a Twitter user (or want to become one), from the Settings app, download and install the official Twitter app and activate Twitter integration within the preinstalled iOS 5 apps that offer Twitter integration, such as Photos, Safari, YouTube, and Maps.
To do this, launch Settings, and from the main Settings menu, select the Twitter option. Near the top of the Twitter menu screen, tap the Install icon for the Twitter app. This will download and install the official Twitter app on your iOS device. Its app icon will appear on your device's Home Screen when the install process is complete.
From the Twitter menu within Settings, fill in the User Name and Password fields with your existing Twitter account information and then tap the Sign In icon. This activates Twitter integration with several of the preinstalled apps that come with iOS 5.
When your Twitter username appears in what was the User Name field, you can tap the Add Account option to enter details about another pre-existing Twitter account (because you can manage multiple Twitter accounts from your device).
Once you have at least one Twitter account activated, tap its listing to access the Account screen and determine whether you want other Twitter users to be able to find you via email, and/or if you want to automatically include your location when you compose and send new tweets.
You will still need to configure the official Twitter app by launching it from your Home Screen and then tapping the gear-shaped Settings icon that's displayed.
