LinkedIn for Business: Create a LinkedIn Company Page to Generate Visibility, Followers, Recommendations, and Sales
LinkedIn Company Pages provide an excellent opportunity for companies to present their products, services, and job openings to LinkedIn's vast audience. In addition, LinkedIn has introduced many new Company Page features recently, which make your page an even more viable marketing tool.
If your company doesn't have a page, it's time to create one. If you already have a page you haven't updated in a while, check out what's new and make some enhancements. In this article, I'll show you how to create a Company Page that maximizes your exposure on LinkedIn as well as introduce you to some great new Company Page features.
How Company Pages Work
LinkedIn enables companies of any size to create a Company Page. Almost all major corporations have a LinkedIn Company Page, but you can also create a page for a small businesseven if your business is just you. Nonprofits, universities, and hospitals can also have a presence on LinkedIn.
Figure 1 shows the Company Page for Pearson Education.

Your Company Page can include a company summary, employee information, job postings, product information, and much more.
The company icon to the right of any company name on a personal profile indicates that the company has a LinkedIn Company Page. Click the company link to view the page or hover over it to view a preview. Figure 2 shows a sample preview. If a company doesn't have a link or a company icon, no Company Page exists yet.
