Setting Tasks and Making Notes
We already saw how the TaskPad can be included in your Calendar view. To add a task, just start typing it in the empty box at the top of the list. To set a due date, double-click the entry to bring up the full dialog box for the task. Like an appointment, a task enables an alarm to let you know when the task's established timeframe is imminent or past due (see the following figure).
Figure 49 You can set a due date and add other info for a task by double-clicking it in the TaskPad.
Finally, Outlook offers little electronic "sticky notes" that you can create (see the following figure). To create a note in Outlook, use any of these methods:
Choose File, New, Note.
Click the New button on the toolbar and choose Note.
Press Ctrl+Shift+N.
Your sticky note is ready to fill in and drag to the desktop.
Figure 50 You can recolor your note by clicking its corner for more options.
