2. Use HootSuite or TweetDeck To Schedule Your Blog Posts
The time people are most likely to see your tweets are between 1:00 and 11:00 pm. While you can schedule your post to publish at any time (I always choose 8 am), I usually want a Twitter update to happen sometime after 1:00. However, with my schedule, I don't always have a chance to be in front of my computer at that time.
So I use HootSuite or TweetDeck to schedule my tweets.
I prefer TweetDeck because I can schedule tweets for odd times, like 2:37; HootSuite's free option only gives me options in 5-minute increments, like 2:35 or 2:40. You can often spot scheduled HootSuite tweets because of the time they appear. (Their paid service lets you have odd scheduled times too.)
