All That Matters Is the Bottom Line
I hate to say it, but in the end all that matters is the bottom line: What is the Return On Investment? In the case of Expression Web this is a no-brainer. Its support for standards-based code combined with interconnected code integration, an intuitive user interface and SuperPreview—not to mention fully integrated support for PHP, ASP and ASP.NET—makes it a true contender. And with its $149 price point (as opposed to Dreamweaver’s $399) it’s a steal.
But to me all this is just icing on the cake. The reason I use Expression Web and the reason I think you should, too, is that it helps me build better websites faster. A lot faster. And in the end, that’s really all that matters, for me and for my clients.
