#7: Open the Command Prompt in Any Folder
Although the Windows GUI keeps improving, there will always be times when the command line is necessary, especially for administrators or IT support personnel.
As you probably know, a major pain about the command prompt is navigating folders. However, not in Windows 7thanks to the Shift key.
While holding down the Shift key, right-click a folder or right-click in a folder. This enables the hidden shortcuts of menus. One shortcut added in this extended menu is Open command window here, as Figure 10 shows.
When you click this shortcut, the command prompt will open to that particular location.
