What Does the Future Hold?

These trends are troubling, and the future is likely to get worse, not better. It’s a running battle, much like an arms race. While new security technologies and products are developed to meet the changing needs, the bad guys are coming up with new techniques and strategies as well. Where will it end? The most likely answer is: It won’t end. As has been said many times, there is no silver bullet in the security world. Over time, the threats have grown in both number and complexity, while the timeframe for response has been shortened dramatically. Previous successful attacks have shown that even those who are well protected and have large budgets and resources can be compromised. We need to be constantly alert, tracking the latest vulnerabilities, and monitoring the health and performance of our networks. Finally, we must have a plan of action in place, with a well trained staff ready to respond at the drop of a hat.

Questions and Inquiries

For inquiries and questions, we collect the inquiry or question, together with name, contact details (email address, phone number and mailing address) and any other additional information voluntarily submitted to us through a Contact Us form or an email. For orders and purchases placed through our online store on this site, we collect order details, name, institution name and address (if applicable), email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, credit/debit card information, shipping options and any instructions. Application and System Logs

Pearson automatically collects log data to help ensure the delivery, availability and security of this site. Correcting/Updating Personal Information

If a user no longer desires our service and desires to delete his or her account, please contact us at customer-service@informit.com and we will process the deletion of a user's account.
