Resizing Text Blocks
As you're typing in a text block or text shape, you might want to resize the text block or shape—but there are no sizing handles available. That's awkward, because as you type the text, it is broken depending on the bounding rectangle.
So how do you resize a text block or text shape? You just follow these steps:
- Select the Text Block or Standard Pointer tool in the toolbar.
- Select the text block you want to resize. Visio selects the text block and shows its selection frame.
- Drag a sizing handle of the selection frame, resizing the selection frame as you want it. Visio realigns the text to match.
- Release the mouse button.
