Adding the Visio Diagram to a PowerPoint Slide
With the diagram saved, you can easily import it into PowerPoint. The easiest method is to use the Clipboard: Press Ctrl+A in Visio, selecting all of your open timeline objects (except the background, which is on another page); then switch to PowerPoint and press Ctrl+V to paste the objects from the Clipboard into a slide (see Figure 9).

CAUTION
Make sure that the color scheme or template of your PowerPoint slide conforms to your timeline design.
Another method starts with PowerPoint: Choose Insert, Object, From File, and then select Microsoft Visio Diagram. Browse to the saved file and bring it into your slide. This technique preserves the background so that it takes over your entire slide (see Figure 10).
