Time and Date
After powering the server on, you must set the date and time by using the setdate command at the lom> prompt, as in the following example. If the Solaris Operating System (Solaris OS) is running, you can use the date(1) command.
lom> setdate -t EST lom> setdate -t 042018152000.10
These commands set the time zone to Eastern Standard Time (EST) and the date and time to Thursday, April 20, 2000, at 18 hours, 15 minutes, and 10 seconds. If your time zone area uses daylight savings time or summer time, it is set automatically. The LOM showdate command displays the current date and time for the system.
